Comfort and Energy Savings

Improper temperatures in the dining areas of your restaurant can waste energy and cause discomfort among both customers and staff.  Maintaining temperatures within the proper comfort zone in the dining areas can significantly improve your customers experience and increase the likelihood that they will return.  While individual preferences may vary, various experts often recommend maintaining the following temperatures: 

  • Winter (Heating Season):  Proper Comfort Zone, 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit (20-22 C)
  • Summer (Cooling Season):  Proper Comfort Zone, 74-78 degrees Fahrenheit (23-25 C)

Each degree above or below these set points can increase the costs for heating and cooling up to 5% indicated in graph below.
